I haven't updated this thing in months. Not since February.

It was a stormy day, and I wish my friends were here. Because I know that we would have spent it indoors, together.

Why are they all so far away? I want the summer to be over right now.

Birthday Weekend

This weekend was nothing but amazing.

Tue, Feb. 14th, 2006, 01:38 am

So... is it wierd that I planned on going to bed an hour ago. But danced to half of The Lovemakers album... in my room... by myself?

I didn't think so.

So I have a drawing made out of toothpaste, dial bar soap, and shampoo. I have yet to do one with shaving cream and oreos.

Friday, as anticipated, was an amazing night. Becky, Pino, Brad, and I went to this interesting lecture given by a professor of anthropology here on campus. He wrote a television program on the history channel called Bible Battles. It was all about the war fair and tactics in the Bible. We all enjoyed it. He talked about metal technology of the time, and casting. So they made this casting furnous out of ceramic which I thought was amazing.

I was a little dissapointed by Hoon Lee's performance peice, I was expected something a little more grand and dramatic. The food was great though!

Cottage was a really good time. Had the best Ham, Swiss on Rye ever.

Bus ride back was fun.

Then we went to the Pub for about five hours I think. Terrance and I talked about the differences between black, red, pink, and white when worn by girls. Also about the wonders of the sports bra.

Dance party at Brad's, and chatting with Terrance and Becky in her bathroom. Awesome.

I think Leanne had a lot of fun too, and that is the most important thing of all.

Becky and I just couldn't get over how well the sudo-duo-date went!

AHHH.

Today-- Drawing for about five hours straight, because I really have to. Go to lecture at Lake Ontario with Becky and Pino and get free humus and good stuff (if I finish the drawing).

Tonight-- Hoon Lee's performance piece in the UICA. Fifty gallons of milk and a clay brush, how could that not be amazing? The Cabin for frys and drinks. To that guys house with the traveling accent for a party.

It should be a good one.

grr

ugh, i am so bored. This sounds terrible, but I hate sacrificing something that I would really like to do, such as going to an awesome new restaraunt and meeting new people with a bunch of people that I really enjoy spending time with, and seeing my family. Espeacially when there is nothing new to talk about and all we do is play a three hour long board game that the rules take an hour to explain. UGH!!!

Went to the Cat Chow lecture this evening and I enjoyed it. I wish Ryan would have good lectured her though.

Watched television for a while this evening, and it was good fun. I am a little nervous that I have forgotten to do something for tomorrows drawing class though. Since, I forgot to read and respond to questions for last weeks class. Oh well.

....sigh, I am sad to say goodbye to this weekend.

Wow, I am absolutley obsessed/in love with The Decemberists. I can't get over the music. I had a pretty good weekend. I spent a lot of time with the kids from Calder Residence. I didn't even mind sleeping on the hard floor after that night. It was so much fun. I was actually glad to drive home at three in the morning last night because I missed my own bed so much. I think this semester might a good one.
